The TLDR:

I’ve changed my blog from the old-money Channels of Influence. We are now Cracking Defence.

I’ll be mostly talking about defence and security, primarily (but not always) from a UK perspective. Tongue will usually be somewhat in cheek.

Who am I? A British former expat, with an operationally-experienced background in the UK Ministry of Defence. I like music of all genres, history, data, science fiction, French red wines and Spanish whites, oak trees, liberal democracy, Jane Austen, Lebanese food, and badgers.

That’s the gist of it, really.
